Hello all! I am starting a new thread for PCC LVN to RN career ladder program. I applied again for the second time. This is for the July application cycle with a start during the Winter intersession. Would like to know who else applied to this program. Good luck to all! :)

also does anyone have what the student handbook acknowledgement form looks like? Can't seem to find it!
Yes the nurse emailed them back in a secure email, then called to go over them.. once you get the email you could download them to upload.. I uploaded to castlebranch weeks ago, but they're still pending.
What kind of shoes are you guys wearing for clinicals/campus? It says we need "white nursing shoes" with the black uniforms, I have a white pair but they are more like regular tennis shoes so hopefully that's acceptable. For the maroon scrubs it says we can wear any style so I'm still deciding on what to wear with those scrubs. There's a lot of shopping sales right now so I want to pick up a pair if I need to

I believe we need the white shoes for clinical only. I think I read somewhere they don't want the clinical shoes on campus and we can wear any shoes with the maroon scrubs. I'll probably just wear some Adidas like the stan smith

Hey! I know when I did the LVN program with them they wanted white leather shoes so I'm going to try some white Nikes I have but if they say something I'm thinking of some leather hokas as far as shoes for maroon scrubs I suggest the on running brand I used the on cloud monsters and they are so comfortable!

I was curious about that. When I did my program at Citrus they only wanted leather too. No sport ones or breathable shoes. I ended up getting ecco shoes.

I bought white Cloves for clinical, and I have black Hoka's I wear for work so I'll use them for school too.

Hey! So PCC sent me to quest for the tv and drug test and they let me know I was cleared too but they sent a separate email with the actual results. It should have been sent to you after they called to let you know you were clear. It's an encrypted message if that helps. Also the acknowledgment form is on the PCC Registered Nursing Program home page I believe. Let us know if you're still having trouble.
