Pasadena City College LVN to RN application 2023

Hello all! I am starting a new thread for PCC LVN to RN career ladder program. I applied again for the second time. This is for the July application cycle with a start during the Winter intersession. Would like to know who else applied to this program. Good luck to all! :)

Hey!! I also applied for the career ladder program. It's so nerve-racking already!! ? Did you apply anywhere else? I also applied to MT. SAC. Best of luck!!?

Quick question: Did the PCC nursing dept let you know why you were denied the first time you applied? I know some schools will disclose and others (like APU) will not.

Hi Lizzy! I also applied to APU and rio hondo!

No they didn't let me know why I was denied but I am pretty sure it had to do with the fact that I had two prerequisite courses in progress.

That's great! ?The more programs the better chance you have of getting in. I just finished a Summer class at PCC and will also apply to APU.  Another option is LAC CONAH and possibly Citrus. I couldn't apply for Rio bc my math class was in progress ?

Hi Ashley! No I haven't heard back. I think we may not hear back until sometime in October.
