Hello all! I am starting a new thread for PCC LVN to RN career ladder program. I applied again for the second time. This is for the July application cycle with a start during the Winter intersession. Would like to know who else applied to this program. Good luck to all! :)

What book is used for the N210 class? Also does the program use RN ATI books?
Thanks in advance!
Hello, the book used for NRS210 is called LVN-RN Transition, there is also a fundamentals book by talor we used 9th but some used 10th. ATI is also used.
Go to the PCC bookstore website and look up the class it will also tell you the books

Thank you! Curious since you're in the program: do I have a chance at acceptance with a 78.9% TEAS score? I also have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 for all prerequisites and GE courses.... I see people with super high TEAS score and I'm second guessing now. Does the TEAS score hold the most weight?
Thank You!

I believe you have good chances of getting in. First attempt I made alternate, second attempt I got in on my TEAS I think I had a 73.3
Hi, if you guys don't mind sharing your points, I have about 52 without the TEAS. I want to see if I should retake a class or try to aim for a high score for the TEAS, but I would probably retake a class or 2 to make sure I have a better chance because the last time I took the TEAS was 8 years ago and I got a 62%😫, TIA.

I think no matter what, you have to retake your TEAS per their website

I know I have to retake the TEAS because when I took it it was the TEAS 6, but I want to know the average points people have gotten accepted with so I can know what to expect.
aim the highest you can

I applied for the bridge program that will start next January 2025. I know this is an old post but the ones that just applied, has anyone heard back yet? I think they start sending out acceptance letters last week of September?
I applied as well but I have yet to hear back. I believe they start sending out letters next week.

Hello,
For those who have gone through the program, can you give me some insight on the clinical schedule?
Specifically, I'd love to know:
What's the typical structure of the clinical schedule? (Days, hours per week, etc.)
How early (or late) do students usually receive their clinical schedule for the semester?
Any info would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!
