Pasadena City College ADN Program

Published

Hey, guys.

I'm planning on applying for the ADN program for Fall 2019. I went to the PCC nursing website and it states that students are required to take physical activity (2 units). I took a physical activity class which was only a 1 unit class. Do I need to take another activity class? Is it really required? Please help!

Is everyone aware that PCC only accepts Paper/Pencil version of TEAS score if taken at Cal State LA?

Otherwise, they only will accept online version score if taken at an ATI approved location. I found this out yesterday and now have to re-take the TEAS...

I took mine at Pierce... and they don’t do the electronic version... this is my 3rd time applying and they never said that was an issue. I’ve been an alternate 2x

Hi, did you send them your TEAS score again through ATI website? I tried, but PCC doesn't appear this time. This is my 2nd time applying with the same TEAS score. Thank you!

I am going to submit my application next week... so I haven’t submitted my TEAS score yet. Wow...I hope they didn’t change that.... it would make no sense to not warn us ahead of time... I would just cross PCC off my list... I’m not taking the TEAS again just for them.. lol

So you submitted the same TEAS score 2 times, correct?

Does anyone know if the PE class is required to apply? On the website it isn’t listed as required but on the application it is?

It is not required to apply, but it is required in order to graduate and receive your ADN.

Has anyone gotten a scoop of when we will hear anything?

It says 8 weeks from the close of the deadline. But for the spring, it was less than 4 weeks, I think.

Hi everyone,

Please see the attachments regarding the TEAS guidelines & requirements. I also emailed the program director, and you can see her response as well...

Hope this helps!
