Pasadena City College ADN Program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, guys.

I'm planning on applying for the ADN program for Fall 2019. I went to the PCC nursing website and it states that students are required to take physical activity (2 units). I took a physical activity class which was only a 1 unit class. Do I need to take another activity class? Is it really required? Please help!

I have the pdf’s to three of the books! I can share if you need. I got the rest of them on Chegg for cheap.

Did you rent or purchase?

Do you think renting is a good idea?

I chose to buy my books because I like to keep them as resources for later.

If you don't mind, please share the PDFs. They are so helpful when looking up things quickly.

Of course, send me your email.

I don't have the personal messenger through allnurses.com. So I am not able to personal message you. Do you know if it is an paid upgrade to the allnurse website?

Hmm no, I don’t pay anything or have an upgraded account. I messaged you let me know if you were able to receive it.

Hi guys... I heard Pasadena does some of their clinicals at County Hospital... how intense is your ORCHID training? Do you guys have to complete a clinical worksheet, medicine worksheet, nursing diagnosis and nursing care plan for each patient? And if your patient is discharged, do you have to do an SBAR plus another nursing plan and med sheet early in the morning before the day is started?

I am a first semester at CONAH and we spend so much time on worksheet BS arhat we don’t go to sleep sometimes. I have to get to the hospital at 5 just to be sure my patient is still there or to do a new care plan if they have been d/c...

What are the requirements as far as documentation? It’s completely taken away from concentrating on anything else at CONAH. For being such a reputable school I’m not impressed thus far.
