Parkland Residency Summer 2020

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone!

I created this thread for those who are interested or applying to the residency program at Parkland for the summer 2020. I'm hoping this thread is helpful for those wanting to talk and ask questions. Good luck to everyone!

My status changed this morning to reviewing all apps

I saw someone say earlier on this thread that it turns red if selected for an interview. Wondering if that is true or not.

No, I got 2 interviews and neither turned red. I just got a signup genius invite via email.

Mine changed too, and it’s in red but IDK what that means.

Mine is in red now too... I hate worrying so much. We'll see if we get contacted or not I guess.

I guess we’re just going to have to wait to see what happens. Either way it seems like they’re close to scheduling interviews!

So you mean that the phrase “we are currently reviewing all applications” Is highlighted in red? Or something else is highlighted?
I don’t see any red on mine...this is so weird!

Yep, the phrase is highlighted in red. The red color seems definitive. Just hope it doesn't mean no longer being considered.

I read the entire SuccessFactors manual for recruiters (the program Parkland uses for careers) ?? and I couldn’t find anything that has to do with highlighting statuses. I just wish I knew what it meant!!

Hahaha I'd be lying if I said I didn't look up SuccessFactors status interpretations too, and also could not find anything. I know the recruiters see different statuses than we do. It seems that some people have said they turned red, and then they are offered an interview, and others said it never turned red before being offered an interview. It's a mystery. Just wish they'd keep us informed of where we are at in the process (for all us anxious people, especially) ?
