Parkland NICU or L&D resident summer 2013 applicants

I thought we should start a new tread so we could stay up to date on any news regarding Parkland. I only applied to NICU and L&D nurse resident positions and graduate in May from UTA. I'm still praying Parkland calls!! ;)

I still haven't gotten an interview for ER :( anyone know how close they are to being full?

I haven't gotten an interview with them either :(

Maybe they will contact us soon. I'm going into panic mode! I live in Lubbock and planning on moving to Dallas this summer and I can't find a job! I don't know what to do.

I was told the ER was going to interview today and Monday and they were going to take about 45 people.I had my interview today and I believe it went really good. Now we play the waiting game.:)

They told me they were interviewing today, Mon, Tues (maybe even Wed) & that they'd let us know by next Fri.

Was it a panel @hardworkingmama? If so how many were on the panel? Was it laid back?

And if you don't mind me asking is there anything else we should take besides copies of our resume?

Does anyone know how long they will be doing interviews for L&D and how many they are hiring??

@nurse0628 they told me up until May 7 and they said they would be hiring 30-34. Good luck!

Are interviews only being held next wk????? I called HR and they told me that since I was able to submit my application on 4/25 for the nurse resident-ER they will process it. Not sure now if the secretary was accurate compared to what y'all are saying. Just sucks I can't speak with a nurse recruiter :(

I believe today was the first day of ER interviews. They can process your application, but that doesn't mean you'll get an interview. Unfortunately, they get so many applications & they only do a hundred or so interviews. Since this residency is so big they might do 200 interviews but you've got to bet they got 300+ applicants
