Parkland NICU or L&D resident summer 2013 applicants

I thought we should start a new tread so we could stay up to date on any news regarding Parkland. I only applied to NICU and L&D nurse resident positions and graduate in May from UTA. I'm still praying Parkland calls!! ;)

Finally got my "official" rejection email from M*****. It's ok moving on to other things. I finally got a job as a Public Health Nurse.

Does anyone know when the next residency program for L&D will be? I am currently working in Mother/Baby but I want to get into Labor room. I'm relocating from Florida and I wasn't going to be in Dallas soon enough for the July program. I'm dying to get into L&D and I want to be at a teaching hospital so bad!!!! Any info would help! =)

I'm not sure Amanda. I was thinking next February, but I think I read somewhere on these forums about Parklands L&D residency hiring in sept too. It was a post about a year ago maybe.

Wow September would be so perfect! I'll keep my eyes opened for it.... I know they are extremely busy so I'm sure they need a lot of L&D nurses! If anything I'll try to get my foot through the door with Nursery due to my experience. Thanks for the reply!
