They already made selections and are finalizing alternates... I gave up! I just hate I wasn't contacted.

Cbranch, did the recruiter tell you that? when you say finalizing alternates is that just in case some people don't pass nclex?

OMG. I just find this forum, thank you for creating one. I wasn't selected then for L&D. L&D was my first choice. I am just hoping now to be called for other department. I interviewed last week with med surg. I hope I will get an offer.

Hello Everyone!! I just read through all 30 pages of this rather anxiously! I hope you don't mind the imposition but I am applying for Parklands September residencies and am putting finishing touches on my resume, I was hoping that since you all have been through the process you could offer some advice as what to include. I've left multiple messages at the recruitment office trying to get more information but haven't heard back from anyone yet, I'm sure they are busy at the moment but we are moving from out of state so I don't know a lot of the details and inner workings like those of you that already live in the area.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Also, they currently have a LOT of Nurse Resident positions listed on their website, since it seems a lot of July positions have been filled just from this thread, are those for the September start? Does anyone know? I've talked to the secretary at the recruitment office and she didn't know when the start dates were for the current listings. Also, anyone know the difference between the nurse resident and nurse fellowship? This is another question I asked but since I just talked to the secretary she wasn't able to answer me.

the residency is for specialty areas like L&D or ER. The fellowship is for med surg. The fellowships that were listed at the beginning of May are for the July 15th start date. They finished interviewing today and should start emailing people back pretty soon. They said they have ALOT of positions to fill so fingers crossed!

Yes I interviewed with med surg. I hope we hear by Friday! I take my NCLEX next Tuesday and would like to focus on that!

I graduated from Weatherford on may 10th and got my ATT on Monday. I scheduled it that day for next Tuesday the 28th.

Man. That was quick. I also graduated may 10 from TCC and still don't have mine. How long after the BON received your affidavit of graduation did it take to get your ATT? They got mine on the 17th. But still no ATT....
