Parkland NICU or L&D resident summer 2013 applicants

I thought we should start a new tread so we could stay up to date on any news regarding Parkland. I only applied to NICU and L&D nurse resident positions and graduate in May from UTA. I'm still praying Parkland calls!! ;)

Man. That was quick. I also graduated may 10 from TCC and still don't have mine. How long after the BON received your affidavit of graduation did it take to get your ATT? They got mine on the 17th. But still no ATT....

My school said 1 to 2 weeks after affidavit.

Anybody get offers for med surg? I can't wait anymore.

I graduated from Weatherford on may 10th and got my ATT on Monday. I scheduled it that day for next Tuesday the 28th.

You guys are lucky.Our college is not sending our affidavits of graduation until May 30th!!! I called the TBON and they said as long as you have everything done it should take them 15 business days to process and get it sent to Pearson Vue.

It didn't take that long. The bon got my affidavit on the 10th and I got my ATT on the 20th and scheduled my test for the 28th! I could be an RN by next week! Now if I could only find a job...

@nana13 the recruiter called me after 5pm if this helps. Have faith..this was my third interview with Parkland and I finally got in.

Finally got my "official" rejection email from M*****. It's ok moving on to other things. I finally got a job as a Public Health Nurse.

Sorry to hear that. Congrats on your job as a public health nurse. Hope I will hear soon from them with an offer or rejection so I can concentrate on studying for the Nclex.

Does anyone know when the next residency program for L&D will be? I am currently working in Mother/Baby but I want to get into Labor room. I'm relocating from Florida and I wasn't going to be in Dallas soon enough for the July program. I'm dying to get into L&D and I want to be at a teaching hospital so bad!!!! Any info would help! =)
