Hello! thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying to Parkland ?

Oh I just looked and it’s the COVID unit that’s Winter 2020. Maybe they want you to start December? Unless it’s just a typo and it should say Winter 2021. which it could be!

Covid and ED LOL! I guess I’ll have to wait and see. They haven’t done interviews yet so maybe next week we’ll find out? If they start interviews then.

I'm so glad I found this thread! Thank you to whoever made it ? It's been hard waiting around for any word back. I'm in California so I'm glad to finally be able to talk to others about Parkland! Any updates?

Nothing yet! I’m thinking they’ll start sending interview invites once the application period closes on 10/26!? Maybe they’re trying to wait for as many ppl to apply before the deadline!

one of mine now say "currently reviewing all applications".. its for the medicine ICU application. I also applied for NICU but that one still says 'applied'. I am hoping for NICU, however any ICU will suffice. LOL

I have a few that say "we are currently reviewing all applications" and "applied". I did apply for the Winter 2020 ones because I think it is just a typo. Wouldn't make sense for them to post old residencies now.

Has anyone heard anything about the ICUs for February 2021?

I applied for MICU and SICU and both say "We are currently reviewing all applications."

I haven't heard anything back yet. My MICU and SICU say the same thing. Hopefully we'll start to hear back soon!

Same here, I think the application period closes today so hopefully they start moving on it soon

I had 4 move into that between yesterday and today and one that’s been sitting the same way foreverrrr. So fingers crossed that means they’re moving on the apps!
