Hello everyone!

I created this thread for those who are interested or applying to the Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship at Parkland for the Summer 2020. I'm hoping this thread is helpful for those wanting to talk and ask questions. Good luck to everyone!

So what was the actual closing date for applying? Some are saying March 1st but position opened up on March 3rd? Who do you contact for the short answer questions?

I tried to contact talent acquisition this morning about the short answer questions and they transferred me to someone over the residency, but she didn't answer. I left a message and also tried to email the nurse residency email they have listed under questions on the website, but it came back undeliverable. I don't want to submit my application without the needed questions so I'm hoping to get a response soon.

I emailed 3 different people about it and called several. The only answer I received was that they will contact you with packet if considered, but they didn't sound convincing in their answer. March 15 is coming up quick!

Interesting. The person I did talk to briefly didn’t know anything about it which is why he tried to transfer me. Did you just go ahead and submit your online application then?

From what I’m gathering they will send an email if they want you to fill out the secondary questions.

It went well! They give you lots of information about the internship, and then a tour following the interview. Goodluck to you all!

Yes I did. I was told it was a problem they have been having all week and was getting fixed. You should receive an email after submitting online on ways to get the 2nd portion of application.
