Hey all.
33 yrs old, been in EMS for a decade. Wife and I had a kid 7 months ago and that has pushed me to go ahead and make the jump. Currently I work in a pretty busy ER as a medic on 3rd shift after being on the truck for most of my career. Also a member of the Air National Guard. Needless to say, finding time to study is hard.
So far passed:
Microbiology
Life Span Psych
Health Differences
Health Safety
Any questions or comments are welcome.
Currently dealing with military duty and family stuff so getting through this by the deadline isn't gonna happen even if I did get a waiver. Just gonna take my time and get this stuff down pat for the remaining exams. This will still see me finished with all the course/exam work by Dec, which was a personal goal of mine. Then it's the waiting game.
Just to update, I am finished with all the FCCA(both) material besides the final. Waiting until Dec to do that per protocol. Then it is down to the dreaded CPNE wait. I've signed up for Sheri Taylor's workshop in January to help prep and then it is practice and calling for cancellations.

Their policy is that a waiver can't happen unless it's the last test before the FCCA, and even then the process can take 3 weeks. Chances are slim.
