Ohhhh at least you got a response! I have gotten nothing. Even before the application denial/acceptance I emailed them and never got a reply.
with that said, I think it’s safe to assume a denial letter is on the horizon. But that’s OK! I will just try again. Good luck to those who haven’t heard and CONGRATS to those who have accepted a seat!
Hello, all. I just received a denial letter from Palomar. Good luck to you all. ?

Looking for clarification on the acceptance page. ”Yes, I accept a seat in the Palomar College Nursing program for _____ “ I put my name right?! I got thrown off because it asks for my name to be printed below. I’m overthinking it LOL & I also thought about writing semester/year but it asks for that above…

I just made it through the hour and twenty minute video. To sum up, before orientation on Tuesday, we have to complete three forms, schedule a counselling apt, and get all of our official transcripts sent.
After orientation, we have to complete the background and drug screen, complete a physical, get our vaccination titers or card completed, and upload all of that to a special website. We also have to be CPR certified, buy our scrubs at a specific store, and get name badges. The video is very detailed and answers a lot of questions. But they want us to hold off on doing any of this second part stuff until after orientation.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone there!
Has anyone been able to book their counseling apt? It seems like there are no slots in their online portal.

I haven’t either- the slots all seem taken for me as well. I also tried calling them but was left on hold for ages, and had to end up hanging up as I was just on my lunch at work.:( Hopefully they’re understanding tomorrow at orientation!

In the video it says not to worry as long as you have one before the semester starts.
I called around 2 PM today and was able to get one for June 13. It’s not with their preferred counselor, but they did have a few spots. I recommend giving them another call when you have a moment. I was on hold for about 10 minutes before I got through.

If all my points were counted, I estimated 84.
