Hello all,  I just git an acceptance letter from Palomar.  IM SO EXCITED!

Hi! Huge congrats to those who were accepted- and those who haven’t heard back, hang in there!!

I just got accepted to Palomar, and got into Southwestern back in February.

Palomar points were 85-88 depending on life points given or not. I had 4.0 in all prereqs, CNA, an Associate’s, & 92% on the TEAS.
I’m also curious if anyone has any information regarding Palomar’s program! They said orientation is in a week and a half, but I’m eager to learn whatever I can now ?

Is anyone else still waiting for an email from Palomar? I wonder if they go based on last names?

I have not heard anything at all ?

I still haven’t heard and I’ve been so stressed ? I have 85 1/2 points. I lost out on 1 1/2 points. Anyone else around my point range that has heard anything?

I don’t think so. My boyfriend is graduating in a week from palomar and said that when he heard, he heard the very first week they sent out emails and his last name starts with M. His friend also in the same cohort didn’t get her email until the last week and her last name started with H and she also had more points than him. Not too sure how they do things really ?

If you don’t mind me asking, how many points do you have? I’m scared that I may not have enough points and that’s why they haven’t emailed ?

The stress is real!

I had 81 points, but I still would assume a denial letter like every other program. Not cool to just leave applicants hangin’

I have also called and sent emails with no response.

They email denial letters at the end of the month.  I had till today to respond to them so I'm assuming they will send out more letters today if some people declined their offer.

I have not heard from palomar either and I think I had around same points

Last application period I received my denial email at the end of the month. I emailed them today asking if they're still sending notifications because I'd rather get my denial and move on to the next option (West Coast). The chair of the nursing dept replied that I should hear about my status within 2 weeks. ?
