Hi! I wanted to start a thread for students who applied to miracosta and palomar for fall 2022! I havent seen one so I hope were able to connect and share info!

I tried looking for other groups on facebook but didn’t come across anything. So if there is a group already, please let me know! Thanks.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

 One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking onthe Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

 Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

Hey guys! Does anyone admitted to Palomar remember the due date of our drug test in Complio? I’m confused on whether it’s this Friday or 7/8. Thanks!

I took it as it was due this Friday, based on the email we got regarding registration. However, it may just need to be purchased by Friday? I would do it this week, just to be safe. If you do Quest, make sure to make an apt so that you’re not stuck waiting all day with a full bladder. My results only took about 48 hours to come through.

I made a Google Sheets document that outlines a lot of the programs within the area.  If you enter in your information it'll automatically calculate some of your points for certain programs.  Hoping it helps someone.  Document is view only, but you can save your own copy to edit.

WOW this is amazingly helpful! Thank you very much! My daughter graduated from high school this year and we are just starting to research all of this while she works on her GEs at Palomar. I'm a spreadsheet person and can tell this was a labor of love - very much appreciated!

@Youngkoko How long did it take to get offered an actual seat after you go the alternate offer?

I am an alternate for Spring 2023, there are 6 of us total. I am number 6. If I don't get into Spring, I am guaranteed a seat for Fall 2023.

Trying to stay positive and optimistic, but its hard!
