Palomar/MiraCosta Fall 2022
Of course!! Really hope they are understanding, but you’re also super right about them being intense. The first semester instructors we met were very serious & no-nonsense. So we’ll see what happens! It’s hard to say how long response time from them takes, but I’d say maybe a day or two? Like for me, I received my offer of admissions May 14, accepted that same day (Saturday), then got an email back Monday the 16th at 11am. So since it was the weekend, I’m not really sure? When we had orientation, it was the Spring 22 cohort’s final exam day, so I’m not sure they’re still in their office. Have you been emailing [email protected]? That’s who emailed me back. Hopefully you hear back soon, I’m sure you must be anxious. Take a breath- it’ll work out whether it be this semester or next, & you’ll get there!

Of course! And I am so sorry about it going to your junk mail folder, that’s the absolute worst. ? I wouldn’t have thought to check my junk mail either! Yeah all of the seats are filled- they said there will be 34 of us new admits as 2 students will be repeating their first semester in our cohort. I think there were around 40-45 of us there on Tuesday, so quite a few standbys were in attendance. Unfortunately they were pretty adamant that anyone not at the orientation, admitted or standby list, would not be considered. ? I really, really hope they can somehow make an exception for you. But if not, you got in this round so I’m sure that’s an awesome sign for getting in next semester!! I also got admitted to Southwestern, so if you’re worried maybe try applying there too. They have a bigger acceptance/cohort size too- somewhere around 60-70 I think? At least that’s how many were at the orientation. Anyways, congrats on the acceptance even if they don’t let you attend this semester- it’s still a big accomplishment to be accepted! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

Palomar/MiraCosta Fall 2022
Hi! Just wanted you to know- I attended Palomar’s orientation on Tuesday and they said all alternates had been invited to the orientation. For those who were accepted, not showing up to orientation was equivalent to forfeiting their seat- unfortunately two people didn’t show, so two of the alternates in attendance were admitted on the spot. Anyways, just thought this might help you since you haven’t heard anything for some reason! Best of luck!!

swc ADN 2022
Hi! I also applied on 02/09/22. My stats were: 92% TEAS, 4.0 GPA (science & fixed set), associate’s degree, CNA, and possibly 2 life experience points. So total of 92-94 points. Has anyone else received an acceptance email? I just received one today, but it seems extremely early. I’m wondering if it might be a mistake. Thanks in advance! Edit: just called their office and they said they are sending out the first wave of acceptances/rejections this week! Just so you all know.
