Hi! I wanted to start a thread for students who applied to miracosta and palomar for fall 2022! I havent seen one so I hope were able to connect and share info!

I got into both Palomar and Grossmont as well! I’m leaning heavily towards Palomar just because it’s so much closer to me. That being said, I would also love to know if anyone has feedback on either program. From all the research I’ve done, they both look like excellent programs. They don’t give us much time to decide.

Firstly, CONGRATS! That’s very exciting! 
 

I still haven’t heard from Palomar but like you said, after doing the research I think either program would be a great choice. For me *personally* in a case where both programs are good, I’d choose what’s more convenient to my life as the next two years are going to be very rigorous and demanding.

Yikes! I haven’t gotten anything. I checked all my folders too! Now I’m nervous my application got discarded. Has anyone else NOT received an acceptance/denial letter?

I haven't received anything either from palomar

If I remember right, Palomar sends out their notifications in waves. They wait for people to accept/deny their spots, then send out the next round.

I was accepted into Palomar.  I had until May 13th at 6pm to accept.  If anyone denies or does respond there will be more acceptance letter sent and/or denial sent…. I’m assuming.
