Hi everyone!
I am applying to the ADN programs at Palomar and Mira Costa for Fall 2021. I wanted to make this for other students who are also applying! Share any info you'd like.

Yes Not knowing Is killing me. At least we will find out next month (hopefully). I just wish they could tell us now LOL

I have AA, Medical assistant cert, work experience, 4.0 pre req GPA, 89% on TEAS, bilingual in Spanish, military spouse and a couple other things on the life experiences section so between 93-96 points. When does mira costa let applicants know If they were accepted or not ?
Says on their website “Notifications: end of April”
I hope you applied to BSN programs as well. No sense in taking an ADN spot if you’re qualified for a BSN spot.
I applied with 90-92 points depending on life experiences. I also applied to Southwestern (86-89 points), and Grossmont (86-89).
If you think I’m a great student with great points, for comparison, I also applied to Chico State BSN and they only awarded me 84 points. Their point cut-off for Spring 2021 was 95 points!! Pretty much the best of the best got in, not the best on a “holistic” approach ? per usual, they’ll (most CSU’s) have moderate drop-out rate but never change their “academic-heavy” approach to applicants.
My preference is Southwestern because of their partnership with SDSU. I do not want to go to PLNU based on their NCLEX pass rate history, private school tuition, and religious affiliation.
All programs should notify applicants 8-12 weeks after the application cycle has closed.

City College is offering Zoom application sessions. You could always ask there. They aren’t accepting a Fall 2021 cohort, so I didn’t bother researching them further.
I started a Southwestern thread for those interested.
