Palomar/Mira Costa Fall 2021 ADN

Hi everyone!

I am applying to the ADN programs at Palomar and Mira Costa for Fall 2021. I wanted to make this for other students who are also applying! Share any info you'd like.

I got an email 3 days after I turned in my application because they said I was missing a page but then they found it. So I think that’s the only reason why they emailed me. And I’m not sure because I turned mine in through the drop box on campus

For The Mira Costa application can we go to the campus and drop off the application or does it have to be mailed in?

- Who ever is asking if the counselor has to approve the courses at SWC,  I recommend you do talk to one about completing an Student educational plan  (SEP). The counselor write you a SEP stating that you have met the total units needed to apply.  Additionally, you should get your core courses approved if you took them somewhere else. This one is called the Program Enrollment Prerequisite Evaluation Request form. For this form, you have to submit your unofficial transcripts and an evaluator signs off those courses and sends you another form to attach to the app.

Sounds like you're talking about Southwestern. We also have to do this for MCC?

yes this was for SWC, I should of specified. I'll edit that RN ?  I was asking about Mira costa's drop off accommodations.

Oh, okay! I think we can either mail it or drop it off at the address. Theres a drop box on the building. I am planning on dropping off tomorrow!

Oh wait I asked (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) if we have to print out course descriptions and she said it's not necessary btw!

Can we mail in to MCC and have it postmarked by 2/28? Or does it have to be received by 2/28?
