Palomar/Mira Costa Fall 2021 ADN

Hi everyone!

I am applying to the ADN programs at Palomar and Mira Costa for Fall 2021. I wanted to make this for other students who are also applying! Share any info you'd like.

OK I just found mine. Didn't realize it would get sent to the student email.

I just applied with 85 points to Palomar and 81 TEAS, CNA Cert with experience, next will be Grossmont, Mira costa and city college. Mira Costa has a different system point and it's higher.

Hi! for mira costa, are we supposed to send official TEAS transcripts to the school or just attach the unofficial copy with the application?

I'm not sure! although most of the schools are asking to send in unofficials first.

For SWC do we really have to get prereqs evaluated by a counselor before we can apply??

For Mira Costa, do we just attach course descriptions to the application if we're not from SD county? This was mentioned in the app:

but they also recommend meeting with a counselor after submitting the app so I'm confused

Not sure but I found this on the 1st pg at the bottom under "Please Note"

That’s weird. It doesn’t seem like it’s required. I completed my courses at MSJC and didn’t attach anything and when they Emailed me they didn’t say there were issues. I didn’t see a counselor cause there wasn’t any availability.

Oh I think we're good w/o the course descriptions then. How long did it take for you to get the email? & do you know if our app has to be postmarked by 2/28 or arrive by then?
