Hi everyone!
I am applying to the ADN programs at Palomar and Mira Costa for Fall 2021. I wanted to make this for other students who are also applying! Share any info you'd like.
Does anyone know how the two programs compare? I know that MiraCosta is more selective based off of how many they admit per cohort compared to Palomar, but what about quality of the programs, clinicals, professors, job prospects after graduation, etc.? I do not know anyone in the MiraCosta program, so I have no inside knowledge.
Knowing all the info won’t increase your chances of being accepted. It’s out of your hands now. Best thing you can do is keep yourself busy until you hear back ?

IDK how many people didn't get clinical spots but to have that whole faq page I assume it must have been enough to be concerning. Hopefully it gets worked out over the Summer, or something!
I work at one of the clinical sites. Loads of students from several schools have come through during the current semester. No problems here!

well. best of luck everyone. this is roughhhh haha
It sounds like everyones more concerned about Mira Costa but I honestly am leaning more towards the Palomar program since the accept more students. But if Mira Costa received that many applications I'm sure Palomar received about the same ?
