Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble. 

So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.

I thought we had to study hard and get good grades to go to nursing school but now it looks like, you also have to be lucky to be admitted into the program LOL.

Experience also plays a big part as well I'm sure. I'm sure most of us here already have it though, whether it be CNA, emt, or something else.

Sorry to hear that! But don't give up guys, reapply on this next semester and apply to even more schools around. I still haven't heard anything 😞 I keep checking my email to see if maybe I missed anything whether it be acceptance or rejection and nothing yet. I'm so confused on how their set up works and how much longer we have to wait.

Email them. They are pretty quick to respond to emails.

Just emailed them! I asked them if the cohort has been filled since it seems like there's a lot of us in this forum and no other updates have been given recently. Hoping for some good news 🙏🏽

Hi I have estimated 87 points but haven't received any emails yet. The waiting game is killing me. Can I ask how many points do you have?
