Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble.

So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.

Good luck to you all.

Just got my Miracosta rejection 🥲

Hi, can I ask you if how much points did you have?

I had 86 points if everything was counted. Based on what everyone is saying I most likely didn't get in. Still waiting but lose hope.

I don't think points matter with Mira costa since it's random, I just did the bare minimum, maybe 79 pts

Yeah thats correct, on their info session, they said as long as you have 75 points, you are in the lottery. Having 75 points means you are qualified to study nursing and no less competitive than someone with 100 points. Thats exactly what they said I remember.

This is correct , although did you guys noticed that the multi criteria sheet to meet the 75 points is changing and is being implemented starting September 2025 .

Yeah I saw that. It looks like they are tried to reduce point from some of the sections.
