There is also discussion about orientation dates, points-based selection, and being placed on standby lists.

Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble.

So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.

Good luck to you all.

Got taken off standby this morning around 8:30. Good luck everyone.

Points based.

Emailed the school earlier, but got my rejection email before they even had time to respond 😭. Fortunately I had applied to a hybrid absn program and was accepted there, I will just have to make quite a commute instead of staying local. Best of luck to everyone who will be starting and for those who didn't get in don't give up!

Can you let me know if they respond to you? I'm curious to see if the cohort is filled out already because I still haven't received an email 😞

Also for those who were accepted—did they give out a date for orientation yet?

Hi! They didn't respond to my email, but I received the rejection one like 45 minutes after so I'm not sure if that was their way of responding or just a coincidence. It did say that this application season was pretty impacted and highly competitive, I would say reach out just so you can have some clarity.

Has anyone take physiology at miracosta? It looks like it is a hybrid class, but they don't list the online time schedule?

Received a standby offer this morning at 8:30, with last name initial W.
