  1. Experience also plays a big part as well I'm sure. I'm sure most of us here already have it though, whether it be CNA, emt, or something else.
  2. I got accepted to Mira costa after being on standby for like a week. We have orientation this Thursday. I would say call them up and ask for an update? They've been really good at answering my emails promptly.
  3. I'm sorry to hear that. I feel like the great thing about these ADN programs is that they have two application cycles per year. I hope you get in for the Spring semester! ? how many points did you get?
  4. Hey there. My coworker got into CSUSM. She said she was not on the waitlist so isn't too sure about that process but that they gave them a time for when to accept their admission, she accepted hers already but knows of two who are going elsewhere. I hope you get in!
  5. Thank you! I hope you hear from Palomar soon with good news!
  6. I got a follow up email clarifying that I was indeed qualified but was just simply not selected through the lottery. Seems like this application cycle was very impacted
  7. I got the email at 9:11 am. My last name initial is M. It's all good though! I subconsciously was already preparing to go to Mira Costa anyways and am very happy to be attending there. I did my pre reqs at Palomar and I think it will be a nice change of scenery to be at Mira Costa for Nursing. This is so unimportant, but I prefer the teal miracosta scrubs over the grey Palomar scrubs anyways haha ??
  8. Was rejected from Palomar. So looks like I'll be going to Mira Costa! Good luck everyone, and to those who are on standby, have faith! I was on standby for Mira costa and got in officially later that week!
  9. Probably tomorrow. Since Friday was the deadline for some to either accept or decline their seat. So then they'll move on to whoever was next in "line.” That's my best guess
  10. Thank you! And likewise. Two nurses I work with have highly suggested MC so I'm definitely leaning towards it now!
  11. Not Palomar. But just got off the waiting/alternate list at Mira Costa and was officially given a formal acceptance for the Fall 2025 session. So excited! still waiting on Palomar's decision since it was my first choice. Really hoping that y'all get your well deserved seat!
  12. I was able to get all points on that section because I'm already a Spanish speaker and just had my work supervisor sign off that I spoke a second language at work. If any of y'all are in a similar position, I'd say just ask your supervisor to do you a solid and sign off on it
  13. The waiting is so tenseee. I was given alternate admission to Mira Costa, and now waiting for Palomar's decision. I got around 85 points at MC and maybe 80 for Palomar. Good luck everyone ! Hopefully by Monday we hear something back
  14. I'm waiting anxiously on Palomar too! It's a 10 minute walk from me haha. I've never experienced this kind of waiting before LOL
