Pain Cycle

Just wondering if anyone has heard the term "pain cycle" and if so, what your understanding of it is? Im asking because I've heard that sometimes when something is surgically fixed, the patient may still experience pain, due to a pain cycle that had been established. Has anyone found that to be true?

You pointed/directed. Others will give the answer. But student queries belong in the student assistance forum many experienced nurses will guide & nudge students in that forum if the student makes an effort (not omg write my paper for me)

Well, I guess the OP knows where to post now and where to further pursue his/her interest in pain syndromes. Win-win.

Exactly. OP was pointed towards the answer to her query and the best forum.
