Hello everyone:

I sent my application for Pace University earlier this year for the acc BSN program and I am still waiting for an answer as to whether or not I have been accepted. Is anyone else also waiting on an answer from Pace, or has anyone received an answer? I would also like some feedback from anyone who graduated from the program..how long did it take for you and receive a decision letter and what are your opinions about the program?

I wouldn't just want to apply one college only....What happen if there are 500 people applying for the program. To increase the chances...you must apply as many as possible. That is what I did....

Unfortunately, there weren't many that I was qualified for at this time...in addition: I was limited on funds needed for application fees, transcripts requests, etc....I did get accepted to LIU- BK campus and passed the NET exam from the LPN man/brooklyn program...however Pace U is my first choice

Why are you still looking around for that perfect one...

Some people don't even have a chance to get accepted....

general education before doing the nursing classes,

which means more time and much more money...

The Pace program is accelerated, which means less time and money

I agree with you NY dreamer!

I have the same " issue" I guess it is a good problem to have!!

I was so exited when I was accepted to my 2nd choice school !! However, I still want to know if my 1st choice will come through, for pretty much the same reasons! They have alot of "strange" core and nursing req's at LIU that I would have to take a least a semester of.

I feel very lucky that I got in, but I don't feel greedy for waiting for a reply from NYU!

I would do the same thing if I were you....

well guys, I just got a letter from Pace saying that I was not accepted to the acc program...no worries, just wished they didn't wait 4 months to tell me...I'm glad I got accepted to LIU and hope they accept enough credits to make my journey a semester or two faster...I also passed the NET exam for the free LPN program through the adult learning center...just waiting for the interview...themI will have to decide if I should get the LPN first, then bridge to RN...or just go through the RN

I am sorry to hear that, but you are so lucky you already know you have a great place to go!!

I will most likely get the same news in a couple of weeks, so who knows- maybe I'll see you in the fall :nuke:

NYDreamer CONGRATULATIONS!!! Just be careful of LIU-- I know that a number of folks were shut out of clinical for the Fall semester and have been put on a waiting lists. Be sure to register early so you can be one the first to get a spot. Congratulations!!!!!!!

wow, WSmith16! thanks...I didn't know it was that serious..I have two friends that got their BSNs from LIU, and they never mentioned the possibility of waiting lists
