Hi! I just wanted to know if anyone else got into the combined degree program (BSN/MSN) at Pace in NYC for Fall 2009. Is anyone currently attending and have advice for future students? I got accepted into Columbia's ETP program for nursing, but I can't afford to sign my life away on an excess of +$80,000 in loans, so I'll be going to Pace instead! It was my second choice for my undergrad (I ended up going to Fordham University instead), so I'm excited to actually attend Pace :)

They make our schedules for us. Class registration started on April 20 and since I was already accepted before then, they already worked on my schedule, lol. Are you applying for housing?

No, i'm 95% sure i'm going to be commuting from nj... =( are you?

Did you get much fin. aid, btw? I'm not getting any grants because i have a BA already. booo

I applied for housing because my commute from LI would be almost 2 hours each way, but worse case scenario if I don't get housing, I'll suck it up and commute and crash at my sister's dorm when I really can't waste time on the commute

I'm still waiting for my financial aid package. I'm probably not getting any grants either because I'm getting my BS when I graduate next month. Columbia gave me like close to nothing, which is why I had to turn them down and pray that I get a better package with Pace

Has anyone met with anyone for academic advisement?

I e-mailed Maureen Anello and she transferred me to Tiffany Russell Friedman. Tiffany informed me that she would make my schedule for the fall, so meeting with her was not necessary, so I'm guessing that's the process for everyone?? She also said we would get a welcome package with our schedules (I already saw mine online, lol) and we need to take a math calculation exam for a clinical course

Wow, I got all the same news yesterday-- Maureen put me in touch with Tiffany, and I finally spoke to the financial aid office, where I learned that I'd be receiving my financial aid package in the next 5-7 days. It's comforting to know that other people are going through all the same motions.

Hey can anyone tell me more about taking the MAT? How many questions do you have to get right in order to get a good score? The explanation on the website confused me. What score is Pace looking for? Please Help!

I have also been accepted. Just found out today via email from Susan Ford-Goldschein. I am so unbelievably happy! Waiting for my package to arrive next week so I can find out as much as possible about the program. For everyone who already received their packages, what information did the acceptance package have? And how soon do you need to send in a deposit, etc?

so... approximately how long did it take to hear back from Pace after all of your stuff was completed? Did everyone hear by email?
