  1. BSN here.
  2. WJS1, did you hear back from NYP?
  3. Thanks! My two weeks isn't up yet since the phone interview, which was the day after I completed the assessment. I am going to wait til two weeks is up before I reach out to anyone. I hope I hear from them soon, I am getting anxious. Congrats on your other position!
  4. Goldruss, did they end up calling you within two weeks, just curious since u were the first poster over a month ago.
  5. The questions were definitely a little strange. Good luck! The telephone interview wasn't even a formal interview at all, they literally just asked me what my top two specialties of interest were, when I graduated (even though that is on my resume), etc. And I was then told that if they were interested in hiring me, I should be hearing something within two weeks. It hasn't been two weeks yet so I am still waiting.
  6. I think I answered pretty honestly. Did you already complete it? If so, did you receive a phone call the following day?
  7. Thanks. There are maybe 10 multiple choice at the beginning and then after that it's a different format. No score at the end. Did anyone else receive a call the next day from a Talent Acquisition Specialist? I was called the next day and had a brief phone interview and then told that I should be hearing from someone in two weeks if they were interested in interviewing me. I have no idea if that means that I passed that part of the process (the assessment).
  8. Are you all referring to the Nurse Career Battery Testing?
  9. wow thank you so much for the helpful info and taking the time to write that all out! that's a great breakdown and definitely gives me a better idea about my duties! do you also get the opportunity to help or to independently lead groups as a MHT? I have read elsewhere that some people do.
  10. Thank you for the reply! That thread definitely gave me some good interview tips. If anyone has any information on Mental Health worker role that would be helpful as well.
  11. Hello all. I am a nursing student graduating in August who wants to go into Psych nursing immediately upon graduation. I am thrilled as I just landed an interview next week at the hospital I want to work at post-grad for a Per Diem Mental Health Worker position. I was hoping you could fill me in on the job responsibilities, role, etc of a MHW as well as give me any tips on questions that may be asked during the interview process. I feel that the interview may be on the informal side as the Dir of Nursing said she "just wanted to meet with me to discuss availability etc" but I want to be well prepared either way! Thanks in advance :)
  12. Congrats! Looking forward to meeting you this fall :nuke:
  13. I have also been accepted. Just found out today via email from Susan Ford-Goldschein. I am so unbelievably happy! Waiting for my package to arrive next week so I can find out as much as possible about the program. For everyone who already received their packages, what information did the acceptance package have? And how soon do you need to send in a deposit, etc?
