I haven't seen a thread for it, so I thought I'd start one...has anyone else applied for OU's Fall 2016 Traditional BSN program?! :) I applied to all 3 campuses!

I am on the waitlist for okc as wel

We should make a thread for the people that got into Tulsa!

Good idea but I don't know how! LOL! I'll post in it if you do it though ;)

It's cheaper than a class at OU? I'm also at a Community college and need to take for the same reason

Yes, much cheaper.

Does anyone know the chances of getting in being an alternate?

Edit: Sorry I just read the previous posts. I hope we get a spot!

I have a question, so I'm currently finishing up a few classes this semester. i got conditionally accepted. Thats being accepted correct? As long as i pass the classes?

Congrats everyone!!!!! Taurus87 and sunshine349 see you at orientation/in class :)

Yep, that's what it means! :) It's weird terminology! It makes it sound like you weren't fully accepted or something, lol.

Thanks!! :)

question: What upper division class did you take as the prereq?

@sunshine349, I took MUNM 3113, World Music at OU. It was an extremely easy class. I don't know if they offer it online or over the summer, but I took it in person in the fall and it was bar none the easiest class I've taken so far lol. We met twice a week and had one small presentation, a few small (like pretty informal, 1 or 2 pages) papers, and had to attend one (world music-related) concert and one contra dance in the OKC area. There were a few tests too but they were very easy and required almost no studying. It also counted as my non-western civ credit.

Also, I forgot to say it in my last post but happy late birthday! You must've had a killer day yesterday!! :) lol

Oh okay,, thanks! :) it was a great day! :) So then do you have any recommendations of what class to take over the summer online??

Specializes in Cardiac/Neuro/Vascular.

Ryahph, I'm so glad you had that experience I'm taking that class this summer. Sunshine349 I signed up for this particular class in February! It was the last online it completes in June. 4weeks :-)... There were still campus classes open! The advisor at OU said this class was "it" class for the upper division credit! Hopefully this helps get up there quickly!
