OU Traditional BSN Fall 2016

U.S.A. Oklahoma

I haven't seen a thread for it, so I thought I'd start one...has anyone else applied for OU's Fall 2016 Traditional BSN program?! :) I applied to all 3 campuses!

@taurus I am a transfer student, so is there any other online classes open? I am unsure of how to take classes in the summer there since I am admitted for the fall. Do I have to apply again for summer or? I want to start signing up bc I feel like there won't be much spots open for the good online classes. Hah

I am also a transfer student! This will be my first class at OU. I'm coming from a community college. Enrollment was a process in itself because I wasnt Junior status yet. I required a override from the advisor to get in that class. It should be easier for you hopefully. There should be lots of humaties upper division courses to chooses from not sure what would be open online though, they fill up pretty fast.

Sunshine349 unfortunately yes, if you plan on taking summer classes you have to reapply for the summer and be admitted for the summer. I had originally applied for the spring and deferred to the summer, and had to to reapply. Which sucked! I had to wait for my letter of acceptance in the mail and everything.

That's the good thing about the university of arkansas class. You don't have to be accepted. It's just a class by class thing.

@aing... Right, totally understandable. I'm too much of a chicken to take anything out of state..lol

How much was the app fee & credit hours? Was it diff as out of state?

No it wasn't different at all. I go to Tulsa community college right now and we use the online platform called blackboard and they use the same thing so it was super easy for me. There's no app fee. It was $480 total. And 3 credit hours. The professor is actually from Oklahoma. It's completely online. And self paced so you only have one due date for everything at the very end. It's a 12 week course but I finished it in less than that.

Does anyone know anything about scholarships? I've always got grants and now I lost them because my husband makes too much :(

To those on the waitlist, have any of you emailed an adviser and gotten a response?

I have had no luck getting a response through email. I was gonna try to call tomorrow. Have you emailed or called?

I emailed them last week and still haven't received a response. Have not tried calling though.

Well that makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who hasn't received a response! I didn't want to be annoying because I am sure everyone on the waitlist is trying to contact them. I just had questions regarding a few of my classes, so I am hoping to get some answers soon.
