Hey there! I am looking to apply this fall for the 2018 OU ABSN program. Any others find their way here yet?
I am still finishing up my first bachelor's degree but will be done in Dec. 2017. I was told that I can still apply in the fall.
I am expecting rejection or waitlisted due to the fact that I won't be finished with my degree, and my cumulative gpa is pretty rough. Hoping to have a 4.0 in last 60 and a 4.0 in Science with a pre-reqs completed to give myself a shot.
I received another email just before midnight asking me to accept or decline my offer. Just wondering if anyone who was still waiting had heard anything yet. I read that a good portion of the 2017 cohort came from the waitlist, so I'm hopeful, if you've still heard nothing, that this means you'll all be getting good news this week.
So sounds like we weren't initially accepted but if people decline their offer we may get offered one. Basically on the waitlist but not being told we're on the waitlist.

Did someone from OU tell you this? Seems very strange that they would leave us hanging in limbo with no indication either way.
That's just my own assumption. I emailed ***** on Friday and never heard back. It's really crappy they're keeping some of us in the dark. I just don't see why they would tell half and not the other
Question for those who were accepted - are you having problems getting the orientation information online? I accepted my letter and paid the deposit and then clicked on ‘Program information.' That took me to a page that said select your acceptance status. Under accepted there is a link they say you should check out. When I click on it it wants me to login. The problem is I don't have credentials.
I figure I'll give them a day to send out info before emailing them.
Just recent my email to Debbie and she responded with this...
"From what I understand, the College of Nursing is still entering decisions."
So there may still be hope
That and those admitted have 10 days to accept their spot and pay the deposit. So depending on the time frame more and more spots might open up as time goes. I know the wait is painful.. stay hopeful loves!
