we are not required to have our own bp cuff, but I already owned one. The books are the hard thing... we have a lot required.
This is something that I have never been requested to buy but I have had for a long time and I find it indispensable- a leatherman or gerber. It is such a great tool for everything. Also I have a Palm Pilot. I have two drug books on them and a drug calculator that does both standard and metric conversions.

what is a leatherman? should i already know? help me out. :)
hehe, thanks!:)originally posted by karduta leatherman is like a swiss army knife, but with lots more cool stuff on it! oh my, thanks for helping me out. :)
just have to be careful going through security checkpoints with it these days....
i had my sissors(for treatments) in my pocket when i went to purchase my tag for my car, earlier this year, they did let me in until i removed them. 9/11 brought the extra security from everywhere and rightfully so, hummm. :)

we can buy a kit with all the necessary items we need (i.e. blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, sissors, measuring tape, etc). since i have most of what is required, i am buying the other few items without purchasing the nursing kit.
and you?
