hi,im a foreign nurse and taking the NCLEX any good advices coming from my fellow nurses out there? im tembling about the story of my frend who's just finish his exam and stop at 230, is there possibility that he passed or failed...tnx

You really can't tell by the number of questions. Your friend will just have to wait for the results. I wish them Good Luck!

So, SATA questions aren't automatically considered one of the "harder" questions?

You can pass or fail with any number. It is harder for foreign trained nurses to pass the NCLEX but with determination and plenty of study you give it a good shot

I just read a copy of "future Nurse" (http://www.nurse.com)..a nursing spectrum publication. and it mentions that around 70% pass the RN exam the first time..so that might be an update from the original post. It has an interesting article about the NCLEX in the current issue. i found copies in the nursing office at school..try online too...
