I would like to ask about the screening process in the ospital ng sampaloc for the employment in sta. ana medical center.

Has anyone here undergone the screening process? How was the interview and written exam like?

How many interview and exam will you undergo?

I suggest that we all try our luck in other hospitals. Don't rely too much in just one hospital. However, I am still praying that we all get in.

yes they dont want to tell the ranks coz many questions will arise as robocop told us earlier he was ranked 7 but was not called yet. the city personnel told him because the calls were randomly selected. haller. whats the use of ranking if it is still random exclusively for those who have backers.

mayor arrived from the states already so we are expecting a GO signal to resume calling and hiring nurses by now.

now to opsen yes our final resort is to try with other hospitals. which some of us already did and doing or who just give up because the process is all the sdame. backer system. but i feel for those who ranked and landed in the top 100 position we should fight for it. the nurse p[osition belongs to us. we deserve it. so we shouldnt be robbed and taken advantage of what truly belongs and ours in the first palce by the manipulating greedy selfish people who onlt thinks of their good their relatives and people they know. how can you hire someone who is not as skillful witty knowledgeable and competent as us (those who didnt ranked decently). the manila people will suffer. because of the undeserving nurses they got.

good news guys. finally something we all wanted (been waiting) to hear that will lift our spirtis and cheer us up. my batchmate from 4a. a girl. called city personnel office earlier.she told me they told her that only half of the intended nurses were called yet for sta ana. so the remaining 150 on the list of the top 200 (since were the only ones left) for n1 position have a very high chance of being called and be hired. most specially those on the rank 51-100. now my analogy is. if binondo who is currently just 4 floors big with lesser square meter area than sta ana has around 200 nurses then sta ana which is a tertiary hospital and really big....they need around 250 to 300. they only have around 100-150 nurses having duty there currently. so another 150-200 nurses will be called in. good news for us our family friends and those people who prayed believed in us never doubt us and didint gave up despite of the financial burdens stress and high anxiety.

and of course there are vacancy in ospital ng sampaloc. one of my batchmate again went to city hall. she wanted to apply in gat andres. she has two backers as she told me. city personnel office told her to submit pds (personal data sheet), a government form for government employee i guess and a letter of intent that she wanted to be considered in other hospital aside form sta ana. she ranked 89 on the list.

so if you guys are targeting other hospital with vacancy due to their vicinity higher vacant position or the people working there you should go to cpo and pass a letter of intent. but for me ill be sticking with sta ana. its a tertiary hospital new and looks expensive and of course with centralized airconditioning.

Yes I agree with you Nurse. WE all have worked hard for that and they should give what is due to US. Knowing that we are almost there, after that battery of exams and tiring duty, giving up should not be an option, it should not come from us.

Looking for another job is not that easy for we all know that we have a limited opportunity here. So, I still hold on to the idea that we should have it.

I'll wait until July. By then if its not really for me I am willing to let go.

I didn't realize that all post here were written in English. I thought I can give a comment in the vernacular. What I was asking with the comment that was not approved was that... "is jasper 2009, the one whom I know from Med-surg ward? the person we call Agua?" Is that you? Did you receive any call?

Where is Sta. Ana Hospital located again? How do I go there from the Quiapo church? Can anybody give me directions? I tried Google Maps but it wont display Sta. Ana Hospital. Even articles are not unanimous with the company name if it's Ospital ng Maynila, Sta. Ana Hospital, Sta. Ana Medical Center, Sta. Ana Trauma Hospital, etc. So what's the name of this institution? I'm writing my LOI and all I have is Dr. ********as the Hospital Director. Can someone tell me how to go there and the institution's correct name?

now let me share what i know. some dude from batch 4b i think got appointment papers even if hes not yet on duty.still waiting for schedule. met him when i went to city hall.said he was called last april.but papers not signed yet by mayor lim.asked city personnel they said we just need to wait for their call by july. i asked if they really follow the ranking.tehy said they dont divulge infos like that anymore. i gave them a quirky smile. btw im in the 60-70 rank.

my batchmate texted me that someone she knows from the batch that has papers but not yet having duty (guess there are alot who have been given item already) inquired about her name and was told by the city personnel that she will be called upon july. thats what she said according to the guy he knows who has a backer in the city hall. shes ranked 85. so if she gets hired. we'll be hired too. right? i'll kip you posted guys. kudos to us. peace out
