@ robocop. omg, thanks for that valuable information. now we are all celar that we are for N1 positons only. and were 200 on the ranking list. which the top 50 were already called and hired. so robocop you aare ranked 8th but why they didnt hired you last april 22? when they told me the first 50 were called already. hmmmm. dont you think that's unfair. you were tricked and played to wait until election ban is lifted when in fact you already dereve a slot before inauguration. so youyr salary should been rolling already.

@ opsen... im definitely sure that there are around 20-40 opening all in all in ospital ng sampaloc and ospital ng tondo. most of the nurse position were not yet filled up when they transferred to binondo and sta ana. its k=just logical thay city hall give us those position because we already passed their exam and panel interview. even if each hospitals have their own volunteers. we should be given priority.

i already came from the selection of nurses from binondo. but didnt got hired. some of us still with backer got positions in ospital ng tondo. around 10 of tehm. same principle. we paased the exam and interview so they filled the position.

thanks for the info guys. so its very important for us to get the census of the vacant position in each hospital.

and we sgould still expect another 30 or 5o n1 nurses for sta ana. coz for a hospital that big they should hire at least 200. they are only 100 nusres from n1-n3 at sta ana as of this moment. keep the high hopes.

I also asked the personnel if why did i not receive any calls from them considering my rank. They just told me that they randomly picked those people who they called. I can't really comprehend the reason they gave me. But they told me to wait for my call since they need a total of 60 to 70 people for Nurse 1 position.

where in the world is the logic to that? they have a ranking yet they called people randomly? omg. are they really ************ us. random meaning nurses with backers. hahahaha. they are so dirty and mean.

does anybody here knows if sta. ana volunteers will be receiving any certificate?

I'm confused because I asked somebody from the nursing service, ma'am *****, about it and told me that they will not be giving any certificates because it is a part of the screening.. however somebody( one of the volunteers for sta.ana as well) told me that the office is already preparing it..

i just hope they give us true and honest answers and not just "paasa"

before our duty ended by april 15 we asked them (nso) if they will be giving certificates. they aid yes. when we were oriented march 8 they told us no certificate coz its part of the training. when btch 4b 4c and 4d came they were told they would be give certificate. confusing right. its not juts the city personnel giving us confucing info. as well as the nso of ospital ng sampaloc. im not shocked for the whole city of manila and the philippine government. it just runs in the system.

updates. my friends from batch 4 called city personnel. she was told there is only 1 list remaining. no more list for n2 and n3 (does that mean they will not hire anymore n2 and n3 coz its already filled up?) the reamining list....waiting list is for n1 position only. if i remeber it right we are 200 all in all for that. city personnel told first (top) were already hired and called upon except for our friend robocop who landed 7th rank on the list but not yet called/hired. you see. these people are just making fool out of us.

now we are still 150 for the running to be the next (america's top model..noh) sta ana nurse 1. 150 but how many items are still available. some guy from batch 4b or 4c. though not included in the first/top 50 who got hired....already has appointment papers. he's just waiting for his duty. but since sta ana is only er opd ready. he cant have duty. but the fact he was given appointment papers even if they dont need nurses pa how come the reamining 150 from us didnt get called or given appointment papers. and now theye are telling us to wait coz the hospital is not fully functional yet. they are not fair for all to read.

there are vacancies at ospital ng binondo. some nurses went abroad already. still need to confirm. now the nurses who drunk while on duty...even after final judgement that they should get fired//they were given another chance.of course for humanitarian/backer reasons.

someone told me city personnel told them it would be on or after may 28 they would resume calling. 1 friend of mine that is a friend of the secretary to the vice mayor told me that city personnel would be entertaining sta ana hiring by june 15. now we are still waiting and waiting.

sta ana hired people frm batch 2 and three told me some of the people they knew are not yet hired. now thats shocking. if their batchmates are noy hired where are they? will they be hired too? coz fro what i know we are all around 200 who underwent training in ospital ng sampaloc. so where in the world they got the names of the around 80-100 people they hired last april 2010 for n2 n3 position. and still come up with 200 list for n1 position and not hiring people from batch 4. 2 of my insider sources told me that they are still lacking staff nurses.

so better wait. kepp hopes up. i really dont know what to do now.

I am thrilled to know that there is a site like this for us Sta. Ana nurse applicants to share each others sentiments. I have read the previous post and it made me realize that I have a slim chance getting hired. I took the exam at PLM for their 4th batch, was interviewed, had another exam, underwent the training for a month and made it to the panel interview. I did not make it in the top 50 however I was included in their top 60. I don't have someone to back me up so I am just hoping that somehow I would be able to make it for the next batch.

@ valium_nurse since your in the 60th ranked your in a strong position to assume that you should be hired. of course they'll be needing at least 20 to another 30 nurses when the hospital is fully operational. they are so unfair if they dont give work to those who ranked in the first 100. they still need lots of nurses. especially in other hospitals where nurses transferred in sta ana or binondo or those who went abroad na. thats why you shopuld really try to follow up and pester the city personnel office on the status of your papers.

now guys its may 28. they said theyre gonna resume calling. hope mthey really do.

When will it be fully operational? I am already sick and tired of waiting. They should tell us if they'll resume calling or not, for us to move on if they are done with the list.

A friend went to the city hall after election, the person from city hall told her that they don't have a memo yet to call for those who are in the waiting list. They will be calling after June 30, which is for me is another long wait.

I really don't know what to do now.

yup. thjats right. city hall said they are just waiting for mayor's go signal. and yes electiopn ban end june 30. so there you go guys. one of my batchmate gaian called. her ranking was not told. but they said she is included in the first 100 rank. now theres gossip that mayor like lady nurses. i think most nurses hired in sta ana are guys/gays. so some frineds are worrying. even those who got appointment papers that are yet to be signed by maro. coz if they like lady nurses what a poor thing to do to those guys who ranked higher.

It is very frustrating if that happens. We have worked hard, and gender should not be an issue here.

Why don't they tell those people who inquire their ranks? For the sake of transparency, and to show that they are not hiding something it should be told.

I feel hopeless but still I have no option but to wait.
