I would like to ask about the screening process in the ospital ng sampaloc for the employment in sta. ana medical center.
Has anyone here undergone the screening process? How was the interview and written exam like?
How many interview and exam will you undergo?

april 27 called city hall. they are giving ranking. said cut off was 200 of top applicants. after a lot of my friends from batch 4a called later in the afternoon they didnt released ranking. said to avoid comparison. hello. thats public info. we have the right to know our status. didnt wanted comparison?? why are they hiding something? unjust culpritive and manipulating in the process of hiring. said only 50 items were given for n1 position. question are the batch 4a b c and d only good for n1? even if some of us ranked higher? or got better score in exam and panel interview?
they called around 40 to 50 starting april 19. by april 22 soft opening a mass was held. people form batch 1 2 and 3 were called. ranging from n1-n3. days onwards they stilll call for new hires. by april 28 official opening attended by mayor lim my friend told me they are about 100 newly hired already. dra tan told to wait coz there still gonna be hiring. most probably after elections.
city hall told us we are on waiting list. specially those who ranke in the top 100/ they already got 50 from us. so the next in rank will eventually end up in sta ana or in other hospital like binondo tondo and sampaloc.
question/ does the city personnel office know how many vacant position are there in ospital ng tondo sampaloc and binondo? i doubt it. speculations are they will give items to those who has backers. not those who ranked. people who worked within the hospital knows there is opening bt will surely have the papers of their relatives or friends appointed instead of us who are deserving and who ranks.
question the city personnel office told us the ranking for top 200 is overall.. meaning to all those who took the qualifying in PLm or in ospital ng sampaloc (theories computation sketching) we landed on top. how come i am not hired yet? i ranked on the top 100/ i know someone whos ranked is 63 75 and 89. we still havent been called.
if it is over all shoul we be given n2 positions? if there were 50 n3 53 n2 and 50 n1 assumingly. there should already be 150 people on the ranking who got hired. we still dont know exactly how many are they in sta ana with appointment.
i also heard bymay 3 30 nurses will do their training at binondo. and they are for sta ana. question is do they already have appointments? were they promised of a job after 2 months of training? how come they will have their training when most of us were done on or before april 15 at ospital ng sampaloc? whats their case? are they the ones next in line to be hired or called for sta ana? but hopw about us? those 2nd 50 from the ranking.
theres still a lot of speculations but with this infom im sure it definitely gave us some light on whats the real deal happening in the sta ana hiring headed by manila city personnel people and nso of sta ana hospital. thanks guys. we should fight hard for what we deserve.

another thing if the incumbent mayor will not win another set of applicants close to the winning mayor will be given priority. and those set of trainees from batch 1 to 4 their application will be jeopardized in a big way. i hope im wrong but this scenario is very possible. lets hope for the best
To maartengnurse: I called the city hall and said the same thing, they did not tell me my ranking. they said to avoid comparison, ranking of applicants are not released anymore. they only said I was in top 100...

Guys why are there another set of trainees???? the 30 nurses who will be training in binondo oR tondo. There are already a lot of applicants for sta. ana, if that is the case.. why are they going to conduct another training? Is this bacause of the backer system again? what about us??

okay the 30 or 43 sumthing new trainess scheduled may3 in binondo. still need to confirm again. one source told me they are applicants for sta ana. and another one said they are regula volunteers.
To avoid comparison? What the heck. They should give us complete infos. For transparency. Why are they hiding something?
Jasper nice job landing on top 100. welcome to the endeavour of waiting next to nothing. hope we can still make it after election. lets keep each other posted everyone. every little info is beneficial to all of us sta ana nurses aspirant. if they insist on shutting us off with public info we will act as concerned citizens. as a group to condemn the glitch in their process. pray pray pray and work hard hard hard.

when we were still training at ospital ng sampaloc one of my batchmates told me that, the above mentioned 30 nurses were applicants for sta. ana med and not regular volunteers.
if they are going to hire those 30 nurses for sta.ana, the slots that are supposed to be intended for us will be taken away.. what a bad scenario.. i hope this will not occur..
due process? i highly doubt it. but of course there's still hope for us. God will provide. as the saying goes those who are step down will be lifted by God himself in the end. We will rise from this social injustice. Because we are the rightful owner of the item. We are destined to be nurses.
1130 called cuty personnel.yesterday one of my friend from batch 4 ask me to call ct personnel. coz she did and they told her that an n1 position is waiting for her. i called today. i asked if the 200 people from the cut off are the ones they will be hiring for sta ana. if you have read my previous post one of my batchmate asked if it is over all ranking. they answered yes. but now the story is different. the 200 wmo made to cut off are from the last batch who took the exam only. feb 21 as she said.
oi asked again how many exams were given na ba? she said 4.
Haller!!!!! its just logical to think that we have batch 1 2 3 4a 4b 4c 4d that had training at ospital ng sampaloc. but the qualifying exam? the one given in PLM and those who had it at ospital ng sampaloc because they are on duty. one and only exam.
yes. we all know previous batch like 1 2 3 had their routine exams. theories. ten item computation and a practical at or. for the intrsuments i heard.
but all in all those who had trainings at ospital ng sampaloc we are about 200-220. when we were oriented batch 4a they told us 140 trainees had already or currently in ossam. plus 40 from our batch and 4b 4c 4d which is another 40.
so if they are just going to give N1 positions for the 200 cut off. should we cut each others throat for the competition?it just means there are different ranking for n2 and n3. so instead of considering and hiring all of us who had trained in ossam theres a big possibility that there are people who didnt ranked or didnt trained that got hired or will be hired. its hard to explain in english
and what if some people from the later batch over ranked people from batch 1 2 or 3? thats unfair. it should be over all ranking. but people from batch 1 2 and 3 who had other exams will cry out its unfair coz we just had 2 exams.PLM and the computation.
if you didn't know the process. for binondo theres just one exam for all apllicants held in ccm.and there are satellite exams afterwards i dont know if it is valid. the evaluation exmas from different training hospital was not considered.
now for us sta ana. we were given exam at plm so there will be a benchmark or transparency drama, even though we know its backer system. so if you fail and you dont have backer they can easily defend their manipulation.
if they considered applicants for all position lets say 200 for n1 100 for n2 100 for n3 so all in all we are 400 applicants for n1 - n3 positions. the exams are hard. they are really strict. passing score 50. i know people who got 49 in the exma but was not considered. i dont know if im mean harsh or just an overconfident belittling narcissistic person but i dont think that much people passed the exam. we were about 1500 who took the exam.
and only 300 were interviewed i heard. also in binondo 1600 took the exam only 300-350 got interviewed.
so how come the 200 cut off is not over all in ranking? i also dont think all of the appicant who got interviewed passed. some didnt able to get the correct answer in the computation part. or some in the medical question.or some didnt had a good impression about their personality or work ethics.
but at the end of the day. im so drain.emotionally and intellectually battered by the unjust process. so i just need work. something to look forward to and do good. i will say this to everyone who will read this. you can never bring a good person down.
so n1 position. no problem. i can always apply for promotion. but of course another struggle with politics and crab mentality. lolz.

she told me that i should wait until friday. coz they may make a few calls. hope im included.as well as yours. so applicants who ranked 51-100 better gear up.

ps..... 1. can someone get infos on those people that are training now in binondo. their status. if they are really jusy regular volunteers for binondo or for sta ana.
2. my friends from binondo told me they are having problems with the license they got. since its maternal and child hospital they are not allowed for the time being to cater patients in otehr department. so the binondo people are thinking of having their binondo nurses do their work at sta ana hospital. which can be a problem to us. since the city personnel can delay the hiring process for the sta ana nurses. why would they hire new one when they can use the service of the hired nurses in binondo who's on their payroll whether they are working or not.
3. if you are really nosey and talks a lot of gossip within the training hospital in manila you may have heard the issue of certain binondo nurses that are bound for termination due to conduct unbecoming of a nurse something.... someone told me. since its already been dealt with. they will be terminated after election ban currently they they or some of them are not having duty in binondo.i know someone that was posted in oston.they are just cooling off with the issue then maybe after all theres a possibility they wont be terminated. the higher ranking officials in binondo who are furious dont see them na. even the city personnel don't have an idea on the status of these "pasaway" (unruly) people.
4. can someone know the status of vacant nurse position in different hospitals sampaloc tondo manila gat andres binondo tondo medical in balut. these info might come useful for us.since we should be the one to be considered and next in line as the city personnel people told me and my friends.
