Orientation

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I had orientation today. I was so excited to actually get my schedule and pick out my clinical site. Everyone was sooooo nice and I think I'm really going to like it. After a million years of pre-req's it is a little surreal. Anyone else have there's yet?

Congrats Jilaweez!!!!!!!!! :biggringi You have been around a while and worked very hard. Enjoy the moment! By the way, I am finishing my first semester and I am still excited to be in Nursing School! Take care!

That is so good to hear. I peak in on your posts from time to time to see how your doing in your first semester. I am glad you still seem excited about NS, it gives the rest of us something to look forward to & it's better than hearing all about how hard it is. We already know it's not going to be a walk in the park but at least it can still be an enjoyable and positive experience!!

and rnmomtobe2010...your day is coming and we can't wait to hear all about it!!

Glad to hear that your orientation went well! I can't wait for mine.. it's not until May 30th. I just want to know EVERYTHING! :)

I have orientation on Friday the 11th and I start class on the 14th. I'm excited to get my schedule on the 8th to see what classes i'll be taking and what not. I was just siked to finally get into the program!

Wow Tiffany, you start classes so soon, lucky. I am just glad to finally have a schedule with my name on it. Good luck and let us know how it is.

That is great!!! I wish we could pick our clinical site, but I dont think that is an option.

Also, as far as orientation, ours is the day before classes begin. :o That doesnt give us much time to really prepare and get everything we will need. Oh, well, let the stress begin. :lol2: I am still excited.

Bummer. I am glad I got to pick because I live almost an hour from school but my clinical is only a half hour from home. I am glad we had an early orientation...it helped me feel a little more at ease because I was still deciding between two schools. I also have a program overview coming up so I have something else to really look forward to.

Hopefully your school will give you a heads up about everything you will need before orientation so you will have plenty of time to get things done. I am excited with you and for you too!!

My first orientation was April 21st, second will be on May 16th. I have my CPR certification tomorrow and classes officially start on May 21st. I'm nervous and excited!

Oh, well, it will all work out. I always try to think positive. It is just that we will have to all go together and get our books, and EVERYTHING else the day of orientation. What a headache for us and the people who work at the bookstore. 60 people in one little store buying the same books. Watch it be rainning. :lol2: I really am just thankful I got accepted. The rest will take care of itself. :monkeydance:

I hope things go great for you.
