Hi,
I can’t find a thread for this program so figured I would start one. I was wondering if anyone has got a confirmation their application was received?

So this might be a dumb question, but what is the best way to find out what bus lines are close to what neighborhoods? I'm moving from out of state, and although I have visited Portland several times, I am pretty clueless with their public transportation.
@DrinTheFutureRN Not a stupid question at all! This website has some great information (https://www.ohsu.edu/visit/transit) if you scroll down about halfway through there's a list of bus lines that can take you to different parts of campus.
For general public transit maps this is your best bet: http://trimet.org/schedules/index.htm

Super helpful! Thank you so much!!
The transit I think to school is more stressful to me than actual classes. I can do school, it is just the commute that is rough.
Thankful for lots of options, and it looks like OHSU will be doing some hybrid options so we won't be commuting to school every day the first term at least. We shall see what happens!

Hi @futurenurseis! Was that confirmed for Portland that Summer will begin as hybrid (online and in person)? We haven't heard yet about Ashland but would assume they will run the same program.

Best of luck! Thanks for the update.
A question for those who were moved from the waitlist to "accepted" status:
Did OHSU notify you by email, or other means?

CONGRATS! Good luck.
Can whoever gets the spot let us know?
Sincerely,

Nothing is confirmed right now! Crazy we are about a month away with still so much unknown. Hopefully some information will officially be out soon.
I'm in the current ABSN program and we are entering our final term for integrated practicum and we also have no updates. I know our clinical partners, faculty, and dean are all advocating for our class to return to the hospital but it's up to the Governor at this point. Hospitals have a lot of changes going on right now (furloughs, low census, and lots of nurses floating) which makes clinical placement difficult. Three months away and its stressful, but flexibility is highly valued. Keep a journal, helpful for interviews!
