Hi everyone,

I am an international student graduated as RN-BSN from US university. I signed a contract with ADEX medical staffing in which they agree to petition a green card for me. I obtained my license since June, which was when they started my petition. However, it has been a few months and I still don't have an official job RN yet. Right now, I have to do an RN volunteer job to keep my OPT visa status. Is anyone has the same situation with me or have work with ADEX before? I would love to hear from your experience.

ADEX contract is pretty reasonable. However, they are having a placement backlog right now because hospital demand for new nurses is low. Other than that, they do have experience in sponsoring immigration and hospital job.

Before I decided to sign with ADEX, I had called at least 15 different agencies across the states back in 2019 who straightened out rejected me from the phone call. Most of them preferred hiring experienced nurses from other countries who can pass TOELF and NCLEX than the new-grad international students trained in the USA. So I hope you have more luck than I did in finding other agencies.

I would appreciate it more if anyone can share practical insights from their own experience with different sponsorship for the international nursing student, rather than preaching us about common knowledge like we do not know better. Thanks

I currently work with Conexus and although they do little stuff for us, I wouldn't sign up with them. They are as slow as snails in filing your immigration paperwork. Don't sign any contract with them. The pay is trash!!!!!!!!! Not worth it. I signed mine out of desperation because that was the only company i knew of when i graduated college. Now i know other companies that sponsor F1 nurses. Look up ConneticsUSA on facebook. There's also another called GuardianHealth i think. ConneticsUSA look legit and look like they have sound lawyers. Good luck!!!! MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS READ YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING IT!!!! I WISH I KNEW OF OTHER ALTERNATIVES BEFORE SIGNING WITH THEM.

Hi Elija Fredenhargen, can you also send me your timelines and experience working with ADEX? My email is [email protected] . I contacted at least 30 nursing agencies for EB-3 visa/ GC. ADEX seems like they know how to obtain your EB-3. However, after talking to them twice, they didn't want to provide me any information related to the location or the name of the working assignments. They kept telling me that they couldn't tell me because of the timeline of my OPT, the approval of the I-140 and the adjustment of status for a GC, etc. It is very hard for me to completely trust ADEX if they can't even provide me with the basic information of the location of my assignment.

Anyone here already placed at a location with ADEX? How long after being approved for sponsorship from immigration did they place you?

@Elija Fredenhargen How do you know they have a backlog? I was wondering the same thing.
But it’s true. ADEX is legit from the experience I have had so far with them

I signed a contract with ADEX and currently waiting for placement. When I call they tell me little to nothing. Any idea on how long it usually takes to get placed?

Hi you also sent me a message that I couldn’t reply directly to. I did not sign with ADEX. I graduate next month and I am looking into various other companies
