How competitive is my application?
Hello fellow aspiring CRNAs, I’m in the process of gathering all the requirements for CRNA school to hopefully apply next Summer. My stats are as follow: - Cumulative GPA: 3.82 - Nursing GPA: 3.85 - Science GPA: 3.67 - 24 hours shadowing. - CCRN. - Experience: 1 year and 2 months by the time of application submission. 12-bed CVICU in a 451-bed Level II Trauma and Level I STEMI hospital. No prior leadership experience. I’m planning to apply for about 7 CRNA programs. I understand that there’s room for improvement, such as getting more experience and being involved in leadership/community activities. However, based off my stats above, do you think I would have a chance getting admitted? Thank you!

International nursing student looking for job! Please HELP!
Hey there! I'm currently studying BSN program in East Central University in Oklahoma. I transferred from a community college as a pre-nursing student so I don't know about RN-BSN pathway, but I saw information on the school's website saying that they do have RN-BSN program and it's quite small, just about 7 students in 2017 cohort and maybe 24 students the year before. Anyway, consider this school because the tuition is so cheap. I'm an international student too and they allow us to pay US citizen tuition, so it's about 14k~16k a year including tuition, housing, insurance, basically everything. The longer you study there, the lower the tuition they charge you, that's what the students here told me!

WSU Spring 2018 Interviews
What time is your interview? Do you live far away from Yakima? I thought they'll interview us in Spokane but they change the location. No complain though because I can drive to Yakima

WSU nuring school for Spring 2018
I called the office few days ago and they said they need more time to make decisions, that's why they have to reschedule the interview day and the day they send interview letters is changed too. I still hope we can receive letter this week anyway

WSU nuring school for Spring 2018
Hello there! I also apply for WSU this Spring. Your stats are higher than mine. I got 3.77 cumulative GPA, 3.75 Prereqs and 78.7% TEAS. Did you get an interview slot last time? If yes do you mind sharing some of your experiences?

WSU Nursing Spring 2018 GPA and TEAS score concerns.
Hi there! I emailed --------------- to ask the same question few weeks ago. He said they chose the application base on: 1. Prerequisites GPA 2. Cumulative GPA and interview score 3. TEAS score. So TEAS is the lowest consideration. I might say your GPA is quite good so keep faith! We're gonna receive interview letter within a week. Good luck!

Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) BSN 2017-2018
Hi Aswedberg, There is no update in my case. I just received a reminder from Brandon few days ago, saying that I should wait until getting accepted to start enrolling if BSN is the only program I want to explore in PLU. Right now I'm really tired of looking at the empty mailbox everyday Hi NC_24, I'm so sorry to hear that! We all know Nursing is competitive and the chance to get the rejection letter is more likely to happen than getting the acceptance I also submitted my application few days before the priority deadline and now I'm not sure if I want their answer or not. I hope you will find your way to get accepted into other Nursing programs. Keep fingers crossed!

Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) BSN 2017-2018
Hi guys, I also applied for PLU Nursing program this Fall/Spring. I got 3.68 for my pre/co-req GPA and 3.74 for my cumulative GPA. I'm freaking out because I haven't heard anything from PLU yet except an email told me to update my transcript. I understand that I won't receive a letter anytime soon because I just submitted my application a few days before the deadline, but it still terrifies me. I don't know if my grades are enough for me to be selected because they're just okay Have you guys heard anything from PLU yet? Please give me some hope to survive through this time.
