  1. Hi, are you an international student too? Thanks a lot for your response. How much is the tuition fees at Madonna University for RN-BSN program?
  2. Hi, I am an international student, and I am about to graduate from Nursing school and get an ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing). I have been living in Louisiana for 4 years. For international student, after graduate, I will be provided a work permit( a social security number),and that will allow me to work as an RN in the US for 1 year under OPT program (Optional Practical training), and then I will have to go back to my home country. But nurses in my home country do not have value at all, and I don't think I will ever get a chance to use the skills and knowledge I have learned here. So I am looking for hospitals or organizations that would sponsor me and offer working visa/ green card so that I can continue to work in the US for a long time? I have done so many researches about this, but there is nothing positive . I also thought about continuing to go to school to earn a Bachelor degree. But so far I haven't found any colleges that offer RN-to-BSN program on CAMPUS( because international students have to be physically presence at school, and I can't take online/ hybrid program). Also tuition fees for international students are extremely expensive. Please leave some comments if you have any information about hospitals/agencies "anywhere" in the US would sponsor international students or if you know a school offers cheap RN-BSN program on CAMPUS. I have spent so much time, effort and money studying to be an RN, and it was't easy for me at all to be an international student and try to survive in the US. I really need HELP. Please HELP me .
  3. Hi, I am also an F1 nursing student and I am about to graduate from nursing school. So did anyone under F1 status get sponsorship to work in the US as a nurse? I have been researching for this and all of the results are negative. Please give some comments if you had experience on this. Thanks
  4. Not yet. I saw that we just had only 30 members so far. I hope there will be more members. I would recommend we create a closed group so only members can see what we post in there.
  5. Hi, does anyone know how we can buy a parking ticket in LSU garage? How much does it cost? Can we park anywhere else?
  6. My advisor told me we need the online book because it has the code in order to access tests and quizzes. So we really don't need the online book at all?
  7. Hi, everyone. I'm a new student at Charity in Fall 2015. It took all of us a lot of efforts to get into Charity. Congratulate to all of you who got accepted for Fall 2015^^Did anyone meet with your own advisor yet? After meeting with my advisor, I'm so worry and nervous if I'm gonna to do well in clinical. We can ONLY register on June 15th at 10am. And we also have to buy books, uniform and a lot of stuffs... Money again:( I heard the eBook is around at least $400, and it's not working well in Mac:(
  8. I really want to finish my nursing program in Charity. I already spent a lot of money for the background check+ blood titers+ vaccination+ uniform....By any chance, do you know any nursing school in Saint Louis-Missouri that offers RN program with affordable tuition fees?
  9. Hi, everyone. I just got accepted into Delgado Charity Nursing School for Fall 2015. It took me a lot of effort and money to get into Charity. I'm so excited and also nervous because I don't know if I'm gonna to do well in Charity. However, for some personal reasons and family issues, I may have to move to Missouri next year. I'm so sad now because I really, really want to be a registered nurse, and Charity is one of the best nursing school. The big question I have right now is that if there is any nursing school in Missouri would accept transfer credits from Delgado as well as Charity so that I don't have to repeat all the prerequisite courses for RN program. Also I'm looking for a nursing school in Saint Louis-Missouri with affordable tuition fee like Charity. If anyone has any information about that, please...please let me know as soon as possible. I appreciate all your help. Thank you, Hannah
  10. Hi, everyone. I'm about to apply for BSN program in LSU for Fall 2015. I still have some classes that I need to take. I have 1 question about the prerequisite course for Microbiology. I am a current student of Delgado Community College. I already took Human Pathogen BIO211 in Delgado. Can this course be accepted to transfer to LSU? Or do I need to take General Microbiology BIO 210. I tried to find this information online but I found nothing. Please help me out! Thank you.
