Experience with ADEX Medical Staffing
Published
Hi everyone,
I am an international student graduated as RN-BSN from US university. I signed a contract with ADEX medical staffing in which they agree to petition a green card for me. I obtained my license since June, which was when they started my petition. However, it has been a few months and I still don't have an official job RN yet. Right now, I have to do an RN volunteer job to keep my OPT visa status. Is anyone has the same situation with me or have work with ADEX before? I would love to hear from your experience.
Thank you

Please don’t fall into the trap of signing with these companies. There is a huge information gap for F1 nurses and we aim to close this gap because we’ve been there. Let’s help you get the best deal as F1!

Sorry everyone for not updating for so long. It must be too late for those who seen this post a long time ago, but this is for the future F1 RN. From my experience with this comany, because of their tendency of non-full disclosure of information, it created a lot of anxiety for me and my colleagues.
In short, if you have OPT and they have problem with placing you, u can always start working somewhere else while waiting for their placement. Yes, once they suddenly find you a place, you will have to quit that current job and move asap.
There were case that after placement, some people OPT got expired so they end up needing to go back to school before the USCIS can give you new EAD card. Because of covid, they recommend RN to submit request to USCIS to accelerate the process of paperwork d/t humanitarian reason.
You will be fix to a salary for the whole duration of the contract, very little leniency. If you don't like your unit, they will not let you switch unless you threat them that you are leaving the company.
Overall from my experience, make sure you are on top of your timeline. Continuously remind them that you are waiting for their direction whether it is the new EAD or greencard. But yes, as long as you remind them of the timeline, they will file the paperwork and get you a job and greencard.
Hi Elija Fredenhargen,
Please if you can email me at [email protected]
I'd like to ask you couple questions related to this agency since I'm in my half opt.
Thanks a million.
