OPT nurse signed contracted with ADEX MEDICAL STAFFING

Experience with ADEX Medical Staffing World Immigration

Published

Hi everyone,

I am an international student graduated as RN-BSN from US university. I signed a contract with ADEX medical staffing in which they agree to petition a green card for me. I obtained my license since June, which was when they started my petition. However, it has been a few months and I still don't have an official job RN yet. Right now, I have to do an RN volunteer job to keep my OPT visa status. Is anyone has the same situation with me or have work with ADEX before? I would love to hear from your experience.

Thank you

Hi Guys,

I have called and emailed over 30 agencies and got some interview, however, they were too far away for me so I rejected. I also signed initial contract with Conexus but I am looking for some more options when I pass NCLEX - RN in September. . The best thing is apply your resume then they will call you to make an interview appointment. In addition, when you get EAD card you can actually work and get paid as a citizen if you can not find the sponsorship during this time. RN-BSN will have many agencies. Due to my degree is associate, I do not have many options as you but guys can check these agency out. These agencies hire both RN- ADN and RN- BSN.

1. https://prrcorp.com/. Direct hiring . 3 years contract (Nursing home)

2. http://www.conneticsusa.com/. Direct hiring. Most in California

3. https://healthstaff.org/green-card-sponsorship/ . Direct hiring. 2 years contract.

4. Home health care https://independence-plus-inc.careerplug.com/account and http://revolutionary.cc/

5. You can call or email to this list of agency which I have done as below:

Good luck to you all and hope this information will help. Please let me know how it works. Thanks

Hi Nga, how is your OPT process going? It would be nice if you can share with me some of your experience via email [email protected]

thank you so much!

Hi, How did your contract with ADEX go, were you able to get a placement and how did the green card filing go?

I am graduating soon and I hope to contact ADEX. Thanks

Hello everyone. If you have not signed with the companies listed on this thread. I advice you to join the group posted above. You can message me for more details! Please don’t fall into the trap of signing with these companies. There is a huge information gap for F1 nurses and we aim to close this gap because we’ve been there. Let’s help you get the best deal as F1!

Hey I requested to join a couple hours ago. I don’t want to type my full name but the initials from my facebook are S.L. Could you accept me please.

Hello. I’ve requested to join the group. Please can someone accept my request? My initial is CO. Thank you. I’m already three months into my opt without any sponsorship jobs. I’m wondering what to do

Sorry everyone for not updating for so long. It must be too late for those who seen this post a long time ago, but this is for the future F1 RN. From my experience with this comany, because of their tendency of non-full disclosure of information, it created a lot of anxiety for me and my colleagues.

In short, if you have OPT and they have problem with placing you, u can always start working somewhere else while waiting for their placement. Yes, once they suddenly find you a place, you will have to quit that current job and move asap.

There were case that after placement, some people OPT got expired so they end up needing to go back to school before the USCIS can give you new EAD card. Because of covid, they recommend RN to submit request to USCIS to accelerate the process of paperwork d/t humanitarian reason.

You will be fix to a salary for the whole duration of the contract, very little leniency. If you don't like your unit, they will not let you switch unless you threat them that you are leaving the company.

Overall from my experience, make sure you are on top of your timeline. Continuously remind them that you are waiting for their direction whether it is the new EAD or greencard. But yes, as long as you remind them of the timeline, they will file the paperwork and get you a job and greencard.

Hi Elija Fredenhargen,

Please if you can email me at [email protected]

I'd like to ask you couple questions related to this agency since I'm in my half opt.

Thanks a million.

I don't ever see the benefit of an agency if they will be taking any of your money, I would work with an agency that solely does direct hire and my wife did F1-OPT to H1B no problem this way
