Hey everyone :)

So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. The schools I plan to apply are:

Trent, Toronto, Humber, Western and Queens

Possibly considering RPN programs as well.

My York application has shown the CASPer results have been received, but my Nipissing has not.

Nipissing should have received the scores since they said they'll be sending interviews end of March (Which is by this week!) but they probably haven't updated it on the portal.

Got an email this morning I was waitlisted for Queens.. anyone know the chances of getting in off waitlist??

My CASPer results are not showing up on my Nipissing portal yet either unfortunately.

I wrote my CASPer on the last possible day to write it for York and it hasn't shown up on MyFile yet either. I emailed CASPer and they told me they sent my results over to York but to allow ample time for York to update it on MyFile!

No problem! I wrote mine on Feb 16th, I believe this was the last date York would accept CASPer.

My CASPer literally just updated to "Received" on MyFile for York.

Anyone know if the interview dates for Nipissing SPP is still April 10-14th? I emailed them once and they said April 10-13th, but soon after, someone else who emailed in was told April 10-14th, so I'm guessing they're adding more days as they go?

Got an email this morning I was waitlisted for Queens.. anyone know the chances of getting in off waitlist??

I also got an email this morning saying I was waitlisted. Queen's is my top choice with UOFT and Western is my second-third choice!

Hi Everyone! I've been following everyone's posts and thought maybe I should post in this forum. I am a 4th year health science (honours) Public Health student at UOIT. My gpa in my last 2 years is around a 3.5 but my final marks (4th year) will most likely be in the range of 3.7-3.9. I'm currently doing my research practicum at Ontario Shores, I have volunteered at my local hospital for 5 years, I'm heavily involved on campus, and every summer since first year I have been a special needs camp counsellor. I also have worked as a teaching assistant on my campus and I also worked in the athletics department (just to give everyone an idea of what I put on my supplementary forms). I applied to Queens, Western, Uoft for accelerated nursing and a re-admin at UOIT for the 4 year nursing program as a backup. Good luck everyone! And this morning I got an email from Queens saying I'm on the waitlist.

*Update on Nipissing* Received this email today:

We are still awaiting the CASPer results and interviews will not be scheduled until after we receive them.

The interview time was shortened to accommodate the delay in receiving the CASPer results.
