Anyone hear from Heart Transplant ICU or Burn ICU?

Congrats! I applied to Heart Transplant ICU, not sure when they are going to be sent out. Getting nervous now, hope they send everything out soon!

I applied to them also, haven't heard anything back as of yet. It might be by service line or unit then, which would make the most sense. Either way, there is still 5 days left of their 'Oct 20' response deadline. I know we're all super nervous about it, but don't fret!

I've not heard back from MH TMC either. I emailed them a few days ago to inquire but received no reply.

Only in the email that included the questionnaire. Indicated that I would be hearing back about potential Match Day Interviews by Oct 20 at the latest.

Lucky! I have yet to receive my package. I live quite far from North Bay though, in downtown Toronto, so I may have to wait until Monday to receive it.

I've received an offer to Nipissing's SPP as well! Congrats to those who also received offers! I don't see it up yet on OUAC so I'm unsure on how to accept. If anyone has any insight on this, please do share! @2017hopeful: CONGRATS!!! :) @futurenurse612: Most likely, the conditional part is referring to unsubmitted course marks? For example, anatomy and physiology is compulsory. But if you want to be completely sure, I would call and ask the Admissions Department directly! @Pianoplaya94: Nipissing uses your best 10 half courses to calculate the GPA cut-off. I am unsure if this will change in the future though!

I would recommend U of T. It may be harder but you'll come out better prepared and that's extremely important as a nurse. Their NCLEX pass rates for 1st time takers are consistently at 100% or hovering very close to there. As a school with more funding, you'll also have access to more resources and better clinical partnerships. The cohort is smaller as well, which makes it easier to find friends and learn with a smaller educator to student ratio. And of course, finishing earlier has its own financial and mental advantages too.

@s.wheeler Does that mean you finished with 2160 hours (540x4)?! Holy cow! I am interested to know whether or not the mandatory number of hours changes with the type of program. Does someone in a 2Y/3Y ABSN Program have the same clinical hours as someone from a 4Y Traditional BSN Program?
