Hey everyone :)

So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. The schools I plan to apply are:

Trent, Toronto, Humber, Western and Queens

Possibly considering RPN programs as well.

Now I'm waiting for Western's response. Does anyone know starting when they will start sending out offers?

*Update on Nipissing* Received this email today:

We are still awaiting the CASPer results and interviews will not be scheduled until after we receive them.

The interview time was shortened to accommodate the delay in receiving the CASPer results.

Heya, I spoke to ******* ******** the Program Manager of the Nipissing SPP, and just received this info a few minutes ago:

"The invitations to interview for program admission consideration are being communicated to shortlisted candidates as the interview dates remain scheduled the week of April 10th, 2017."

I guess invites have been extended to those "shortlisted". I'm kind of devastated that I haven't received anything yet. =( And my student portal still says that my CASPer results have not yet been received...

I'm not sure, but I did write back to ask if she could confirm whether or not CASPer results have been received, as our student portals haven't yet been updated to reflect any changes. I also asked if interview invitations are being sent out by email, in case I'm not looking at the right place. I'll update here as soon as I receive a reply!

I believe they have received CASPer results now. I just think the portal hasn't updated for some students. I also spoke to ****** ****** today and she said they have been shortlisting and emails should be going out today or tomorrow for interviews as they are still scheduled April 10th week.

I also just got the same confirmation that interview invitations will be sent out by early next week, and that it will be via email. All interviews will be sent out by the end of next week, and I was encouraged to check the status of my application by then.

As for CASPer, they said they have only received some CASPer results, but not all, at no fault of the applicants, so it will not affect an applicant's eligibility.

Hi everyone!

For those who applied to Trent, I received an Offer of Admission on March 22nd, so it seems they are definitely sending out admissions. Just waiting to hear back from UWO though, as that is my first choice!
