Hi Everyone!
This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!
I have a few universities in mind to apply -
Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!
Feel Free to give me suggestions or ask questions! Here is a link I found online listing most of the second entry nursing programs.
Best wishes to everyone! Good Luck!

I need to email Queens still to figure it all out. However I applied through OUAC so I think once you accept one school, the rest of your applications are withdrawn. That was my understanding at least. Hopefully I'm wrong?
That's incorrect. You accepting other offers has no effect on your outstanding applications :)
Hey everyone! I also got accepted to Queens on the 10th and for anyone who is wondering, my overall GPA is 3.50 and 3.55 in the past 2 years. I have until the 23rd to accept, and I think I am going to accept although my top choices are Western, UofT or Mac. So will definitely withdraw from my acceptance if I get into one of those schools. I know Mac and Toronto will send out offers in April/May, but does anyone know about Western?
Also, of the 3 schools I am undecided on which is my top pick. Can anyone shed some light on which they think is the best school? Thanks so much, and good luck to all!!
I plan to do the same as you. I will accept Queen's for now, but hope to get into Mac. Mac would be my first choice as it's closest for me. However I would like to hear about the various programs if anyone has some experience.
For those who are curious my GPA was 3.80. Any info about what grade cutoffs for Mac and western have been in past years?

I am in the first year of Westerns program now. Last year they increased their program size from 64 to 96 students, and I was accepted off the waitlist into the program in July. My average was between 83 and 84 for my last two years, I'm not sure what that converts to on the 4.0 GPA scale. Hope that helps!
Hey guys,Got a conditional acceptance from Humber today for 2nd entry. Does anyone know if there's a Facebook page for it? Good luck to everyone that is waiting!
Congrats gb13!
Out of curiosity, when did you apply to the program? I have a similar GPA although I applied late in January. Wondering if that may be the case as to why I haven't gotten the same results :S
