Hi Everyone!
This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!
I have a few universities in mind to apply -
Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!
Feel Free to give me suggestions or ask questions! Here is a link I found online listing most of the second entry nursing programs.
Best wishes to everyone! Good Luck!

My sister was an internal applicant/is an alumna of York's. She loved the program and had some excellent placements. As a comparison, her view was that York is more Humanities-oriented than U of T. Although, since she graduated in 2014, York may have made some program changes by now.
On the other hand, I will be going to U of T because I'm an internal applicant and won't have to switch schools. A few of my profs recommended the program to me and alumni seem to genuinely appreciate the program as well. I think you graduate being quite well-prepared.
My friend and I both received our offers from York today at around 12:30pm. The deadline to accept is also May 20th, which is found within a file sent to you upon acceptance. I do believe that this deadline is for the first wave of offers, so goodluck to everyone still waiting! My friend's GPA is an 8.0/9 or an A on the York scale and my GPA is an 8.1/9 for anyone wondering.
I was wondering if anyone has been getting emails from Mac at all? Before I got accepted to Trent, I was getting lots of emails from them (about tours, residence, etc.) but I haven't gotten a single email like that from McMaster. It kind of makes me worried that I'm missing something in my application, but it doesn't say on Mosaic. Is anyone else in the same boat?
P.S. I just graduated from Mac in April so maybe that's why I don't get those emails, since I don't need tours and such?

I chose University of Toronto mainly for the "name". I talked to a few nursing professionals currently working in the field and they do like University of Toronto students. A lot said they realize University of Toronto is very hard to get into, which translates into bright/high achieving students (usually). Hopefully it increases chances of employment but I'm pretty sure University of Toronto, Mac, Queens are near the same level (I've heard good things from York as well).
