Hi Everyone!
This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!
I have a few universities in mind to apply -
Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!
Feel Free to give me suggestions or ask questions! Here is a link I found online listing most of the second entry nursing programs.
Best wishes to everyone! Good Luck!

Congratulations!!!! Im excited that they are finally getting on with it.Could you please share your stats?
Sure. I have an Honours BA in psychology, cGPA of 3.95, 4.0 in last 10 credits and in all prerequisites (although I have one outstanding still that I am completing). My supplementary application wasn't anything outstanding I don't think - certainly not compared to @northlyons (what a stellar background you have!). The main things I emphasized were volunteer outreach roles where I have worked in a leadership capacity, and research experience (e.g., I completed a complex RCT for my honours thesis, and have had research positions at Sick Kids, among some other things). That's about it!
Edit: Forgot to say thank you! So rude lol. Thank you :)

You're very welcome.
Don't be so modest. That is a very impressive application and a well deserved acceptance!
hmm well i got mine yesterday and theyre still sending today, if that counts as rolling.. it also said we had 2 weeks from receiving the package to accept our offer so perhaps youd have another couple coming then from those who didnt respond?
Yeah that sounds like its rolling acceptances! So maybe we'll hear a few more over this week. Were the acceptances at random times of day too?
If you don't mind me asking... What was your GPA/supplementary like? :)
i got it at 10:55am april 4 lol
my gpa was 81%. i graduated from uoft last year and have been working overseas as a TA. a couple of research experiences in different faculties, exec positions in social justice clubs, overseas summer internships (1 in health promotion/community health and 2 in rural clinics). i thought i was a pretty typical candidate really. i think how i answered the questions on the supplemental app, really highlighting transferable skills from my experience to nursing without forgetting to add the compassionate side got me the spot.
i did give 2 academic and 1 professional references though
